Knowing God is not about rituals or "being a good person." It is about a restored relationship through Jesus Christ.
Our sin creates a barrier between us and a perfectly holy God. We cannot bridge that gap with our own efforts. That is why Jesus came—to be the bridge.
To "know" God is to receive His gift of grace through faith and repentance, entering into a new life as His child.
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
Jesus is not just a way; He is "The Way." He is the exclusive path to reconciliation with the Father.
The path to God is open, but we must choose to walk it. This choice has consequences that last forever. This leads us to our final destination: Eternity.
