Beyond the existence of the universe, we must account for our ability to understand it. Humans possess a unique capacity for reason, logic, and the pursuit of objective truth.
Humans don't just survive; we seek to understand. We use logic and mathematics to decode the universe. If our brains were merely the product of blind physical processes, why should we trust our thoughts to be true?
Reason suggests that our minds are more than just biological computers; they are designed to recognize and interact with the truth of reality.
"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord..."
God invites us to use the minds He gave us to evaluate His claims and understand the truth of His word.
Our ability to reason suggests that we are not random accidents, but beings designed to know the truth. This capacity for truth leads us to another universal human experience: our sense of right and wrong.
